Ipods are great inventions. I got my wife a 20GB Ipod last Christmas. She now listens to Her music quietly while working out. This means I do not have to hear it. I got my Daughter a Ipod Mini last March for her birthday so I don't have to here Her music. Now we are getting our Son a Ipod Nano for Christmas this year. He is off at college so he will have it for his tunes when he works out and it will handle digital pics from his camera. Everything is right with the world.

Also I purchased a digital Ipod FM tuner for the car. Allot easier to use the Ipod on a trip then drag a bunch of CDs.

have you people not heard of newegg?
30 gig mp3 players (that don't need the evil known as Itunes) are only $189
60 gig (same as best Ipod) are only $259, which is funny when you remember that retail for a 20 gig Ipod is $299, hmmm...

$50 less and three times the capacity, would that be a better deal I smell?

I believe the answer is yes

But seriously... who needs 60 gigs of space for music? I have a 20 gig iPod and I only fill 4 gigs of it. I can't even imagine how many songs 60 gigs would be. Way more than I'd ever need that's for sure.
